Valentine’s Day with French Classes Slideshow

French classes at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø High School celebrated Valentine’s Day with the Valentine’s Cards Contest. This colorful and exciting event takes place three years in a row at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø High School and gives French students a chance to express themselves through their creativity and imagination. This year’s creativity exceeded all the expectations of French teacher Dr. Kucheryavenko and the members of the Jury – administrators, language teachers, and French Club members.

There were amazing cards of all sizes and shapes, cakes with French inscriptions on them, fortune cookies in the shape of rose petals, handmade Eifel Tower, keys from the heart, massage in a bottle and so much more. Students played violins, piano, sang French love songs.

³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø High School Italian Club

On February 9, BHS Italian club and Italian students from Ms. Hines and Ms. Ellams visited “Ferrara”, the famous Italian bakery/dessert café in the heart of Little Italy for delicious “panini”, “cannoli” & “gelati” and much more.

They continued uptown for another true Italian experience: the opera, “La Cenerentola” of Rossini. Bravo!
